Founded in 1991 by Peter Yerxa, Heartwood
Distributors, in Saco, Maine, is backed by more
than 15 years of industry experience. In that time,
the company has grown from a small wholesale
distributor of cabinetry serving local contractors
to a full service Maine company providing
products and services to contractors and
homeowners alike. We have never relied on high
pressure sales techniques or glitzy marketing
campaigns. Our exceptional growth has been built
on referrals and repeat customers.
Heartwood provides cabinetry in all price ranges
from several different manufacturers. We have all
types of countertops including laminate, wood,
and solid surface materials such as granite and
Corian. We are a builder/distributor for GE
appliances and we have access to many other
related items to help complete your project.
Although we specialize in kitchens, we can also
provide cabinetry for all rooms of your home
including bathrooms, built in entertainment
centers, wet bars, bookcases and fireplace
surrounds.
Our staff has over 50 years of combined industry
experience in design and customer service. We
provide complete design and installation services
as well as site delivery of everything we sell. The
